Lauren Zemlick D.V.M.

Dr. Zemlick grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan with two sisters and two brothers and a backyard full of snakes, turtles and frogs, many of which she kept as pets. This sparked her passion for animals.

She graduated from Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois with a double major in exercise physiology and natural sciences. During undergrad Dr. Zemlick worked as a licensed massage therapist and personal trainer. After graduating she worked in research and at several small animal clinics before deciding to attend veterinary school.

Dr. Zemlick graduated from Iowa State University in 2011. Areas of interest in veterinary medicine include small animal surgery, natural medicine, and exotic and wildlife medicine.

She has two cats - Cheeto and Chicklet.  She enjoys running, biking and doing anything outdoors in her free time.
